During these COVID-19 days, one of our clear learnings has been that not a single thing is motionless, everything changes constantly, and in our current world, the short term does not longer exists, only exists the “inmediate”, the consumption habits change enormously in a very short time, technological tools constantly arise in order to help in the decision-making process or in the cost reduction.

The real-estate sector, is not apart from this continuous transformation of everything, what is more, in a short space of time, hundreds of companies have come out and will come out offering technological solutions to help the real estate agent and real estate clients.

However, we cannot just “transform” and adopt technology without sense. We have to make an internal reflection of the company processes and above all, we only should transform a business putting the customer in the middle of every decision. After speaking with our client, understanding what the client thinks and needs, and having clear the processes that match the company purposes and customer needs.

Once all these questions have been resolved, we can go to the market, and find the appropriate tech solutions to offer the best service to the client, who should always be at the center of all company operations.

If we talk about real estate agents digital transformation, it is unfair to say that they do not use technology, several years ago, they already adapted changing from paper ads to portals (real estate portals, as Rightmove, Idealista, Seloger…). Some years ago, they started to use the real estate CRMs (day after day CRMs become more sophisticated). Few years ago, they started to use very powerful valuation softwares (“full” of big data, machine learning, prediction…). These last couple of years, they use tools as virtual tours or digital signatures. All this, shows that the real-estate agents, listen to their customers and are adapt their business models.

In this changing world, the one who does not adapt, disappears.
